Marie Legacé

As their Vice-President of Innovation and Partnerships, Marie Lagacé was the second employee to join Sillons, a mission-driven organization dedicated to ensuring that social innovation’s potential is better utilized to address major societal challenges. With a small and incredibly smart team of game changers, she now works to rethink and co-create rules, programs, and networks for new practices and solutions to arise and communities to thrive, contributing to a more prosperous nation at the social as well as economic levels.

Formerly the CEO of Humanovis, an organization that carried out social innovation and knowledge mobilization projects, and the first Senior Director for Public and Social Innovation of Québec’s Innovation Council, she also is an Associate Professor at Université du Québec à Montréal. Certified coach in transformational leadership, Marie is an experienced coach, organizational leader, talent gatherer, and change enabler with an enduring passion for research-driven decision-making and collaborative transformation. She is Chair of the Board of cœsion SP.
